Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Gliiph ("the Service"), operated by Gliiph LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
2. Description of Service
Gliiph is a secure, encrypted link-sharing platform that allows users to share sensitive information via self-destructing, burn-after-reading links. Content is encrypted client-side using AES-256-GCM. Gliiph LLC does not have access to the plaintext content of any secret created through the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Gliiph to share:
- Content that is illegal under applicable law.
- Malware, viruses, or malicious code.
- Content that facilitates fraud, identity theft, or unauthorized access to computer systems.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or harms minors.
- Content that threatens, harasses, or incites violence against individuals or groups.
- Credentials or access information obtained through unauthorized means.
4. Zero-Knowledge Architecture and Liability Limitation
Gliiph is designed so that we cannot read the content of secrets created through the Service. The decryption key is embedded in the URL fragment and is never transmitted to our servers. As a result:
- We cannot review, moderate, or recover the content of secrets.
- We cannot be held liable for the content users choose to share through the Service.
- Users are solely responsible for the content they share and for ensuring that sharing such content complies with applicable law.
5. Abuse Reporting
If you receive a suspicious or harmful link via Gliiph, contact us at legal@gliiph.com and we will immediately and permanently delete it from our servers. If you believe illegal activity has occurred, please contact the appropriate law enforcement agency.
6. Accounts and Subscriptions
- Paid accounts (Pro and Brand) are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues through the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and magic link emails.
7. Intellectual Property
The Gliiph name, logo, and interface are the property of Gliiph LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Users retain ownership of any content they share through the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gliiph LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gliiph LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Missouri.
